Tekerrür, the new book by Selim Süme and Özgür Öğütcen is out.

Tekerrür analyzes how the image becomes an object of desire through the gaze, how history and memory are rewritten over time, the role of the photograph in this process and how our relationship with the image is positioned in memory.

We will meet on March 11, Friday between18.00 and 21:00 at Karşı Sanat to share Rec Collective’s latest publication and to discuss it. There will be a talk moderated by Ezgi Bakçay on the gaze, the portrait and representation of the photograph.
